Readiness:

• BASIC Readiness Standards are mandatory to be retained in the Corps. All active duty officers are required to meet the Basic level of force readiness by 1 May 2005.  After 1 May, 2005, officers who do not meet the Basic level of force readiness will be denied permanent and/or temporary grade promotions.  Checklist of the ten criteria to meet Basic Readiness Standards [revised 11/13/2006] [DOC].
